Inspecting Homes in Alaska since 2003
From start to finish, we look at everything we can lay our hands on!
A-1 Inspection Services LLC has been conducting Home Inspections in Alaska for over 20 years. We inspect single-family & multi-family homes. We have inspected all types of homes all over Alaska. A-1 Inspection Services LLC is licensed, bonded, and insured.
In the process of buying or selling a home, it is very important to have a Home Inspection. You will not only want to know that you are making a good investment, but that the house is safe for your family. There can be many hidden issues - structural, mechanical, or health and safety - of which you should be informed.
We are lucky to be in Alaska. Our homes are not nearly as old as many in the Lower 48. We also have very good building contractors in our state. That being said, NO HOME IS PERFECT! Building codes and standards are constantly changing. Existing homes may have items that were overlooked or that may have degraded over time. These could lead to costly repairs or upgrades.
This home is new to you. You need to know everything we can tell you about it. We will be discussing the benefits of the home and how to maintain or improve upon them. We will also discuss items that might need to be addressed. After the Home Inspection, you will receive a full written report, complete with pictures, the next day. The report may help you in the negotiations of your purchase.
If you are thinking of selling your home, it is a good idea to know as much about its current condition as possible. The buyers will most likely have a home inspection for their own benefit. It is advisable to at least be prepared for what may be listed in their report . Anything you discover can either be addressed right away or you can be ready to negotiate with the sale of the home. We can do a Written Report or a Verbal Consultation. A Verbal Consultation requires you to be present, taking your own notes or video.
You may have lived in your home for many years, but you might not have looked closely at the individual components of the home in quite a while. Things wear out. Sometimes they break or fail without being noticed. People learn more about their home in a few hours with us than they might have ever known. They can have upgrades or repairs completed for not only their own safety, but also to increase the efficiency and longevity of the home and all its systems.
We offer Home Inspections for buyers, sellers and current home owners.
We offer both written reports and verbal consultations.
